Leanne Kelleher
Chef-Owner

Earning the
title of Chef from
the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in 1991,
Leanne Kelleher continued her education at The Florida International
University with a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management. While at
FIU, Leanne also served as an instructor for the University's culinary
program.
After
completing her education, Leanne filled the role of garde manger
for such restaurants as Cafe Bacci and Cafe Abracci in Coral Gables; then as
sous chef for Guytano's and Cafe du Soir and finally as both sous
chef and executive chef at The Black Pearl Brasserie.
In addition
to her considerable experience in South Florida, Kelleher has traveled
extensively throughout Europe and studied, first-hand, the culinary
operations of such landmark establishments as Villa d'Este (Lake Como, Italy),
Le Richmond and Montreaux Palace (Switzerland), and The Connaught and Simpson's on
the Strand (London, UK). Realizing the rich culinary heritage in her
own country, Leanne has also traveled the United States with special focus
on California wine-making and local trends in cuisine.
The Tides
represents the Chef's vision of fine dining with the freshest of
ingredients prepared through classical methods but also combined with the
flair and artistry of nouvelle cuisine. Her innovative menu pays
homage to the rich, ethnic heritage of the Treasure Coast from traditional
Southern to a hint of the Islands.
